Grandma's Precious Angel

On January 7, 2005, Mommy became a grandma for the first time. Her son, Rich and his girlfriend, Amber, had a baby girl - ASHLEY MARIE KOZEL. And she is just adorable. She was a big girl when she was born. She weighed over 8 pounds and was over 21 inches long. Mommy went home in February when Ashley was 6 weeks old. Rich and Amber waited to have Ashley baptized until the weekend that Mommy was there so she got to be a part of it. Mommy was home for 4 days over the weekend and got to keep Ashley overnight one night. She really enjoyed that. Then Mommy went back again in May when Ashley was 4-1/2 months old. Once again, she stayed over a 4-day weekend. This time, she got to keep Ashley overnight for two nights. Mommy was in seventh heaven that weekend. Mommy was going to go back again in September when Ashley was 8 months old, but was unable to because she was in a motorcycle accident over Labor Day weekend. Ashley is now 11 months old and is almost walking. Mommy misses her so much. Here are some pictures of Ashley from the time she was a little baby. We hope you enjoy them. As we get more pictures and newer ones, we will post them on the website for your enjoyment.

"Do You Wanna Kiss?"

"Me and Grandma"

"Mom, Dad and Me"

"Aunt Katie and Uncle Ryan"

"Aunt Shelby and Me"

"Me and Grandma Again"

"Greatgrandpa and Me"

"Here We are Again"

"Aren't I Adorable?"

"I'm Tired"

"Wee, This is Fun"

"I Love Aunt Shelby"

Ashley is such a wonderful baby. She is eating all regular food now, no baby food at all. Mommy hopes to be well enough in a couple of months so she can go back again and visit. Right now, Mommy can't walk yet, her left leg is still healing from all the surgeries, but she will be better soon and that will make all of us happy.
