Mouth-Watering Pot Roast

Pork or beef pot roast - any size
1 can mushrooms (if desired)
1 small onion, chopped (if desired)

In a crock pot or slow cooker, place the pot roast, along with the mushrooms and onions. Add enough water so there is about 1/2 to 3/4" in the bottom of the cooker. Cover and slow-cook all day on medium to medium-low, for at least 8-10 hours. Pot roast will literally fall apart and be juicy and tender.

For the gravy, remove the pot roast from the juices. Heat juices to a boil and thicken with a white sauce mix, or a flour and water or cornstarch and water mixture. Add thickening until your gravy gets to your desired thickness. This recipe is so simple, yet so delicious.
